Yep, it is another award!
***Clapping*** And this award goes too....(drum roll please!)... Yes, I was asked to make another cake award. The orders were placed by two different people. And I have to say that I was looking forward to making this one (that is not to say I was not excited about making the other one). I was asked to put a high heel on the cake and I really wanted to try making one out of fondant. I think it turned out pretty well. I hope I will get to make a pair of them in the near future! =o)
Wisdom Award
And the award goes too....Okay, so you don't see very many awards made out of cake so I was shooting in the dark on this one. I was asked to come up with an award for a sweet friend of mine. She is such a godly person and so I tried to make a little figure of her reading the Bible. I will say that I did not do her justice. But hey, it was my first try in making a person out of fondant. I will give it more time to set before putting it together and it should not look so wide in the future.
The fifth and sixth grade were graduating into the Logic school and I was asked to make the cake for the graduation. The ECCS logo was requested to go on it. I was a little nervous at first because I had to do all of this upside down - even the words! I think it turned out pretty well though. I was pretty excited because this is the largest cake I have ever made before! A full sheet cake is huge!!!
The cake is white cake with buttercream icing.

Troy Trojans
Spring Garden
Wizard of Oz!
This cake was for a drama group that performed The Wizard of Oz. Each layer represents part of the story. The bottom layer is the blue and white gingham check of Dorothy's dress. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but there are "brick" impression to represent the yellow brick road on the middle layer. The top layer was the emerald city. Then of course I put the lion, tin man, and scarecrow on the side.
I made two layers chocolate cake and one white. Everything was iced in buttercream and covered in marshmallow fondant.
