Tow Mater

I really enjoyed making this cake! With it being my first, I have a few things to do next time to improve. I hope the cute little boy that got this cake loves it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Lego Cake

I had a great time with this cake. The main reason I did is because my sister-in-law helped me with it. I love spending time with her. She is so wonderful.

Piano Groom's Cake

I was over the moon when I was asked to make this cake. Many hands went into making this a possibility. Crystal, thank you for sketching the design. Caye, thank you for building the stand. And Emily, thank you for helping me get the right paint and matching the colors. I have been joking around about the fact that I felt like the Cake Boss or someone from Ace of Cakes now that power tools have been involved with the making of one of my cakes. I think this would be fun to continue doing. I just need to invest in some power tools and learn how to use them! Anyways, the cake was a ton of fun to make. I have many other designs floating around in my head!

The cake was chocolate with chocolate icing and decorated with marshmallow fondant.

Wedding Cake

The top and bottom layer of this cake was red velvet and the middle was white. It was iced in cream cheese icing. The wedding reception was at the beautiful Woodrow Hall in downtown Birmingham.

Alexandra, I hope your wedding was wonderful! I hope the cake met your expectations and put a smile on your face! You are a beautiful girl. My prayers for you are that the Lord will be glorified through your new life together with your husband.

Guitars, Butterflies, and Peace Signs

This cake was made for a very special family friend. My family has been friends with this sweet little girl and her family for years. We are quite close. So close that our youngest two promise they are going to marry when they are old enough. Truth be told, they have said this for so many years, we want it to be true!! ;) I love their mom like a sister. All this to say, I love the Ingram family. Micah, I hope you had a great 10th birthday.

The cake is marble (yellow and chocolate) with buttercream icing and decorated with marshmallow fondant.

This cake was for a very sweet friend of mine. The Lord has blessed her family with a darling baby girl. So we at RMLBC got the opportunity to shower them both with lots of love and gifts. Congratulations Lori and Brad. We love you!!

The cake is strawberry with buttercream icing and decorated with fondant. I am pretty fond of the owl. I think we could have been friends!! :)
